BCB - Floorplan in the Glashaus

The Glashaus is part of the Arena, a former industrial site, that was transformed into an event location after the Berlin wall came down. Actually the Glashaus, a raw red brick building, was just meters away from the border, that separated communist east Berlin from the free west. Its scenic location right on the Spree river makes it a historical and inspirational site.

The Glashaus is dominated by a huge stage and an auditorium that can take up to 300 visitors (1). It will serve as the heart of the Bar Convent Berlin with trend and bar talks and cocktail demonstrations. A spirits stage (8) will be set up for additional spirits tastings. Visitors will be able to sample and discuss new products in the exbibition rooms (2) (7) and test their mixability at a trial bar (6). A lounge with a beautiful sight on the river (5) will provide space for networking. New and international publications about the bar business can be purchased at a shop (2) close to the entrance.
