Thanks for visiting Bar Convent Berlin 2009! Please join us again next year!
Since its launch in 2007 Bar Convent Berlin has evolved into the central networking and exhibitors' event for the German bar industry. Every year, over two event-packed days, the who's who of the German bar and beverage industry meets in Berlin to forge new contacts, to learn about the latest bar innovations and to expand their knowledge in seminars.
The concept of the Bar Convent, which could best be described as a mixture of trade fair and symposium with an accent on programme and seminar elements, is already attracting an increasing number of participants from neighbouring European countries.
Here on the BCB website you'll find all the important information for both visitors and exhibitors. In a regularly-updated blog we will also keep you informed about the latest news and developments related to the most important date in every bartender's and bar manager's calendar.

The native Tennessean Arnett was appointed Master Distiller of Jack Daniels in spring 2008. Since the company’s foundation in 1866 he is the seventh person to become Master Distiller at Jack Daniels distillery.
What is your job as master distiller of Jack Daniels like and why do you enjoy doing it?
I spend 80% of my time as the working distiller in Lynchburg. In this capacity, I oversee the entire whiskey making operation for Jack Daniel’s. I also head the master taster’s panel that reviews the maturity of our whiskey while it is still in the barrel, and ultimately I will determine which barrels are ready to be bottled. The remaining 20% of time is spent traveling and educating friends and fans around the world about Jack Daniel’s and why there is no other whiskey like it.
