Tickets for Bar Convent Berlin 2010: Questions & Answers

Only 18 days to got until German barshow Bar Convent Berlin will open its doors. Here is a quick overview how ticketing and online registry works in BCB's fourth year.

If you follow the sign saying "Buy your ticket now" on the Bar Convent home page, you'll land on a  Nanoticket form. Who is Nanoticket? Nanoticket is the company that handles ticketing for Bar Convent Berlin 2010. Tickets for the Convent can only be obtained  through Nanoticket or at the box office of the BCB itself.

What are the advantages of buying your ticket online?

One advantage of buying tickets on the BCB website is, that the tickets will cost 30% less as when you purchase them at the box office. Another advantage is that visitors with online tickets won't have to line up at the entrance. Bar Convent opens at twelve o'clock in the day time and there will be strong numbers of visitors in the first three hours.

Free tickets for Bar Convent - is there such a thing?

Yes. Subscribers to the (German) print version of Mixology, Magazine of Bar Culture, can attend for free, if they provide their subscription number in the registration process. If I buy my ticket at the BCB box office, is my subscription also valid there?

No, like every other visitor you'll have to buy your ticket for the regular fee of 30 euros. The ticket is valid on both days.

Your 5 steps to a BCB ticket:

1)  Register at Nanoticket by opening an account

2) Log in using the code (that was sent to you by mail)

3)  Answer a few questions about your visit to Bar Convent Berlin

4a) Mixology subscribers use their promo code/subscription number (see "event")

4b) Non-subscribers agree to ticket purchase and enter their bank or credit card details

5) Print out bar code (2 day pass) and bring it along with you to BCB
