Distillerie de Paris (DDP) is the very first and only Parisian artisanal distillery since they were officially banned in 1914. It was founded by two brothers - Nicolas and Sébastien Julhès in Paris’ famous 10th district in 2015.
Nicolas, master distiller and master mind behind all the creations of the DDP, during his fifteen years’ experience as a consultant for Diageo and as a wine and spirits retailer got involved into the craft spirits movement. Since then, he dedicates himself to the production of genuine spirits, picking botanicals, citrus and spices as a perfumer would do. The DDP experimental nature is at the heart of the production and allows total freedom in the creative process, it's in fact the trademark of Nicolas’ work and the warrant of his authentic products.
DDP uses only fresh raw ingredients that are personally selected by Nicolas at the famous Parisian Rungis market or from trusted suppliers from all over the world (Canada, Mexico, Reunion Island).
The hybrid custom-made alembic Arnold Holstein was designed by Nicolas himself to be a perfect instrument for all kinds of experiments.
A special proactive and dynamic method of ageing was invented in collaboration with Seguin Moreau who produced for DDP experimental barrels of 100L made with wood of different origins (French / American Oak, Cherry, Acacia), different shapes of staves and toast levels.

Gin BATCH 1: First recipe created by Nicolas. Classic London Dry Gin + bergamot citrus & fresh coriander. Extremely concentrated, it is made to be diluted without any loss of aromas.
Gin TONIK: Due to the good quality Tonic shortage in most bars, we decided to add quinquina extract into this spirit. You can now enjoy a good G&T everywhere, just add few drops of sparkling water!
Gin BEL AIR: The richest recipe we ever created at the distillery. Made of botanicals from the Reunion Island it fluctuates between exotic fruits (pineapples, passion fruit) and sweet spices (wild orchids, cinnamon).
Vodka INDIA: Maybe one of the most concentrated flavoured-vodka ever made! Kaffir lime, buddha’s hand lemon, bergamot citrus and so on… Oily textured and heavily aromatic; made for bartenders and inspired amateurs.
Brandy Ugni Blanc: Our friend Guilhem Grosperrin helped us to find quality wines of Ugni Blanc from the best plots in Cognac. The rest was made thanks to our proactive ageing method in barrels custom-made for our experiments by Seguin Moreau.
AGAVE: A new product released in 2018 in limited batch explores the nature of the raw product. An innovative method of cooking, long fermentation, precise distillation – all this gives a very different aromatic profile, it is really an Agave that you’ve never tasted before.
