Coffee Culture in all its diversity
From brewed coffee to espresso to coffee cocktails – the Bar Convent Berlin 2018 presented the theme of “Coffee in Bars” in all its diverse glory. From 8 to 10 October, Europe’s leading industry event for bartenders and the international beverage industry will reserve a dedicated exhibition area just for the little black bean – the Coffee Convent Berlin. And one thing came clear: nitro and cold brew are the top trends of 2018.
In addition to inspiring tastings, trade visitors could see exhibitors at their stands for a wealth of professional suggestions on how to integrate coffee into their range. Nitro dispensers and cold brew coffee makers will be on display alongside coffee grinders, drip brew methods and the art of making the perfect espresso. Naturally, a vast selection of specialty coffees will be on hand, as well: For example, Lavazza presented a new Colombia filter coffee made from 100% Arabica beans, which was launched to match the Coffee Convent Berlin.
