Bar Convent Berlin is the world’s largest drinks trade show, bringing together global bar owners, bartenders, distributors and manufactures from approximately 80 countries. An impressive 446 exhibitors are bringing 1,200 drinks brands to Berlin, including over 160 gins, more than 100 liqueurs, 90 rums, over 40 tequilas and mezcals, and 69 bitters, vermouths and aperitifs. With such a diverse range of products represented, Bar Convent Berlin is a microcosm of the industry and the perfect place to spot the next big trends. Here are four of the biggest to look out for at the 2019 show.

Irish Coffee is probably the classic among the coffee drinks and mixed by both bar tenders and laymen. But there are more creative options. After all, boasting over 1,000 different aromas coffee offers just as many variation options for creative minds at the counter. Current top trends: Nitro and Cold Brew. From 7 to 9 October 2019 Bar Convent Berlin will show why coffee has now stopped living in the shadows and is increasingly moving into the limelight at bars.

It will be rum making its grand appearance at this year’s Bar Convent Berlin. However, with a total of 1,200 brands none of the other spirits will fall short either. 430 exhibitors will be presenting new products and variations here, ranging from gin, liqueur and tequila to bitters, whiskey and vermouth. The biggest trade show in the industry brings together bar owners, bar tenders, distributors and manufacturers from some 80 countries from 7 to 9 October. There will be many novelties to discover this year, too. These come care of the approx. 100 new exhibitors alone who have already registered at this early stage. So visitors will be in for numerous new taste experiences, brands and innovations.
