Visionary and tailor-made for bar operators, bartenders and distributors: highlights of the lecture programme at BCB
Learn from the best: the visitors of Bar Convent Berlin expect no less and they are offered no less. Operators of the most successful bars in the world, top bartenders and brand owners give an insight into their wealth of experience in numerous lectures and seminars. This year, Bar Convent Berlin will run for the first time on three days, from 8 to 10 October 2018. The extension of the trade show gives visitors the opportunity to attend more lectures.

One of the most anticipated trade shows, Bar Convent Brooklyn, made its successful U.S. debut at the Brooklyn Expo Center this June. Bar Convent Brooklyn, an extension of Bar Convent Berlin, saw over 3,100 attendees from across the world and beverage industry come through the doors during June 12-13, 2018 at the Brooklyn Expo Center.

BCB 2018 places Italy centrestage: Guest country presents itself with a passion for the region and nature
Italy, home to a tradition-rich spirits industry and counting among Europe’s largest producers, is this year’s guest country at Bar Convent Berlin. Numerous major brands will be present here at the most important event for bartenders and the spirits and beverage industry across Europe. Centrestage will be the Italian pavilion where smaller companies will showcase their varied and sustainable spirits. Bar Convent Berlin will run for three days this year for the first time. 8 to 10 October will see the “Who’s Who” of the sector meet at Station Berlin and the adjacent Kühlhaus.

Making two into three: 2018 sees Bar Convent Berlin being held on three days for the first time. This means the trade show starts one day earlier. From Monday the approximately 400 exhibitors expected will demonstrate the diversity and creativity of the industry. From 8 to 10 October BCB will offer more tastings, talks and exhibitors than ever before.

He has been in the bar business for 30 years. Some of the best-known bars around the world have named cocktails after him. He is a passionate (former) bartender, instructor and consultant. And Angus Winchester will now be leveraging his know-how for Bar Convent Berlin. As Director of Education British-born Winchester will be in charge of the educational programme for Europe’s most important sector event to be held at Station Berlin from 8 to 10 October 2018.
