From 7 to 9 October 2019 Bar Convent Berlin will show why coffee has now stopped living in the shadows and is increasingly moving into the limelight at bars.

There are 9,149 kilometres between BCB and this year’s country of honour. From 7 to 9 October Mauritius will be bringing its rum diversity to Berlin. The exhibitors from this island state will present themselves at Kühlhaus, which will serve as the “House of Rum”.

RUM - Respected. Revitalized. Revolutionized. The quality spirit has been on a rise. Rum will live up to its tempestuous origin by also creating a furore at the Bar Convent Berlin 2019 when the Kühlhaus Berlin becomes the House of Rum. The leading trade show for the bar and beverage industry will honor Rum with a stage of its own. Together with Ian Burrell, the Kühlhaus will solely present all of this spirit’s facets. The Bar Convent Berlin will take place from 7 to 9 October.

BCB São Paulo gathers premium spirits brands, visitors from Brazil & South America and local and international speakers
The inaugural show featured 55 lectures, 75 speakers, 16 hours of content, live activities and a networking for over 3,000 attendees, including bartenders, mixologists, bar and restaurant owners, beverage distributors and hotel professionals.

It will be rum making its grand appearance at this year’s Bar Convent Berlin. However, with a total of 1,200 brands none of the other spirits will fall short either. 430 exhibitors will be presenting new products and variations here, ranging from gin, liqueur and tequila to bitters, whiskey and vermouth. The biggest trade show in the industry brings together bar owners, bar tenders, distributors and manufacturers from some 80 countries from 7 to 9 October. There will be many novelties to discover this year, too. These come care of the approx. 100 new exhibitors alone who have already registered at this early stage. So visitors will be in for numerous new taste experiences, brands and innovations.

The bar community will be looking to Berlin this October when the BCB will once again bring the most important producers, hottest brands, bar operators and bartenders from around the world to the German capital. Some 14,000 expected visitors, more than 1,200 brands and over 400 exhibitors from about 40 countries as well as numerous bar events will turn Berlin into the metropolis for bar culture for three days.

This is where the creative brewery community meets bar owners, restaurateurs and bartenders: Brew Berlin stands for new beers, local and international breweries, and endless expert know-how on product selection and the craft. As a part of the Bar Convent Berlin, the trade show will take place at Station Berlin from 8 to 10 October. Here, restaurateurs will find out how the new diversity of beers can become the USP for their business and what they should consider when putting together their selection. More than just being optimally embedded in Europe’s leading trade show of the bar and spirits industry, Brew Berlin is also at home in Berlin, in the midst of an up-and-coming environment of new breweries and beer bars.
