It all started in the spring of 2015. Andras Ódor, the owner attended several Hungarian and international bartender competitions. He won the Talent category of the Cointreau Championship in Hamburg and the Super Finals of the Hungarian Cocktail Championship, so he was chosen to represent Hungary in the World Cup in South Africa. He found one single problem, the dress code. “I always had to dress into the same black vest, and even that wasn’t a very confy one”. András would have liked some other kind of workwear, so his sister sewed two aprons for him. Already in the next race in Germany, he wore them, when mixing drinks. To his greatest surprise, not only did his cocktails win with huge successes, but also the apron he wore. Both pieces were bought, so after returning home, his sister had to make another apron for the next race. Andras competed, and once again, his unusual work wear received so much attention, that Andras practically had to auction them off to his co-contestants. From this experience, the idea of the Apron Manufacture was born. 

Our aprons became famous during the course of the years. The orders are not just from Budapest by now, but from Boston, London and Hamburg too. We create work-wear for such big brands as Gray Goose, Bacardi or Aperol. We are present in many places, you can meet us at the Ritz Carlton, the Barber Shop in Budapest, the High Note Skybar and many other hotels, hairdressers, restaurants and cafes, and the list keeps on growing.

Next to our aprons, today we produce chef jackets, robes, shirts, T-shirts, tablecloths, napkins and several other products too. Our partners do not stop at asking us to create the work clothes for their employees, but often we are asked to design the entire textile concept for companies, events, restaurants, hair saloons, hotels, etc. Then once we’ve designed, manufactured, delivered, then we’re asked to take care of the maintenance too – what we happily tend to accept. 

We also needed a BAR. A sexy, cool, sleek little place in the heart of Budapest, where locals and tourists can hide away and experience the magic of our cocktails. Our creative showroom temple features a wide selection of spirits from all over the world, just to tempt the curious minds who enter for the time travel experience each and every cocktail promises. The staff are quiet geniuses, confidently guiding the visiting explorers to discover the wonders a mixed little drink can provide. Creating cocktails that never before existed and could be too exquisite to ever be listed on any menu. This bar has a soul. Andras Odor, the bartender champion owner has single-handedly created, crafted the gem that is for you to enjoy!
