EL CHAMAGO lures the Ibiza’s genie out of the bottle

This product has something mystical to it: El Chamago bears the epithet “Spirit of Ibiza”. Legend has it that an Ibizan shaman (no, not a crazy partying tourist) was guided by divine voices to a hidden cave in the wild herb fields of this Balearic Island. There he discovered a glow-in-the-dark herb pulsating with the island’s energy. The shaman turned it into a potion that awakens the senses and builds a liquid bridge to Ibiza’s soul. Lost for centuries, the recipe was re-discovered in ancient cave paintings and revived. Today, El Chamago comes across as a modern premium herb liqueur made of Mediterranean botanicals, sweetened with honey and based on full-moon water.

MAKURU SPICED celebrates the stormy South Pacific

In the Australian Aborigine language “Makuru” means the stormy season is about to begin. The season so feared by seafarers in the wild South Pacific and the hardest to safely reach the shores of this continent. According to legend, convicts transported to Australia in the 18th century secretly stole barrels and mixed their contents randomly. Makuru Spiced (inVINity Wines & Spirits) picks up on this legend by “marrying” carefully selected rums from the South Pacific to form an intensive blend. Vanilla, caramel, spices and fruit make for an authentic, mysterious experience for the tastebuds.

RESURRECTION BUSH GIN with that magical shrub from South Africa

Resurrection Gin from South Africa opts for an extraordinary botanical for the production of its gin at the Hope Distillery in Cape Town: native to Southern Africa the rare “resurrection bush”, (botanical name: myrothamnus flabellifolius) is known for its ability to revive from the dead when coming into contact with moisture. Extracts of this plant give the gin an earthy note with a touch of menthol and fir tree. This gin is traditionally distilled, enhanced with pure water from the South African mountains, bottled in artistically designed bottles and supplied in three editions (Water of Life, Dry Season and Sundowner).
