Last year, visitors to BCB were able to learn more in a special education area organised by Pernod Ricard. This year, there will once again be a broad programme from SIP for the bar community at the trade show.
From 14 to 16 October, BCB will once again offer a wide range of training opportunities. SIP will also not be missing out on the trade fair this year. The SIP Studio can be found in Hall 20 at Stand A05 and will offer a full programme of talks, workshops and roundtable discussions on topics such as the future of flavours, mindful drinking and upcoming trends in the industry.
Don’t miss the SIP Studio!

Experience Future of Hospitality at the SIP Booth
How could a bar menu look like in the future? A German all-star team gathered for a 2 days’ workshop to co-build a menu they think could be served in 2050. Inculding: Samuél Antonio-Bernardo (Zest & Spice), Boris Gröner (One Trick Pony, Freiburg), Freddie Schefferski (Jing Jing), Chloe Merz (Collab Bar – Hamburg), Roxanne Helm and Nathalie Tran (Ory Bar at Mandarin Oriental Hotel – Munich). On Monday and Tuesday BCB visitors can experience the result at the SIP booth.
On the Wednesday of BCB, it’s a team of six Kempinski Hotel bartenders from all around the world that will take over the bar, following the same brief and with a new menu. In addition, there will be a Brand bar featuring Absolut, Jameson, Bumbu, the Deacon, Italicus, Savoia, Altos and the Bar World of Tomorrow.
Three more SIP Talks on the Brand Stage
On the new “Brand Stage”, three more talks from SIP will take place such as “Elevating your Bar: Mastering Hospitality” by Sean Finter and “Strategies For A Greener Drinks Industry” by Matt Whiley, Kelsey Ramage, Luke Whearty and Alex Kratena.
Moreover, Daphné Hor will host a round table which will be decoding the way climate change will impact potential pathways for how we live, consume and socialise in the year 2050. Do not miss “Future Scenarios for 2050 - Exploring the implications of climate change on conviviality”!
