BCB 2022: Per Se, the first Portuguese Aperitif everyone loved to meet

Entschlossen verweigert sich Savage, der Bar einen Namen zu geben. Stattdessen sind drei klassische Design-Symbole das Logo der Trinkstätte in Dalston: ein gelbes Quadrat, ein rotes Viereck, ein blauer Kreis. Am meisten wurmt den sympathischen Franzosen dabei, dass es kein Gelbes-Dreieck-Emoji gibt. Das erschwert auf komische Weise die Kommunikation. Der Instagram Account lautet: a_bar_with_shapes-for_a_name und anderenorts tauchen die Begriffe ‘Savage Bar’ oder eben ‚Bauhaus Bar‘ auf.
Für den BCB bringt Savage nun sein Barkonzept mit und mixt für uns mit Unterstützung von Russian Standard Vodka an der perfekten Bar dazu.

With the performance of Marian Beke, the owner of the renowned bar The Gibson, in the UK, the attendees of this year’s edition of BCB learned more about this new Aperitif and its full potential not only in cocktails, but also for the international markets, due to its category and claim “The Light and Essence of the South”.
Reflecting a summery-fresh taste and appearance of sunsets in the south of Portugal, the late afternoon is the perfect moment to appreciate this drink. Imagine a rooftop bar in Lisbon with the best sunset view in town or an aperitif on a hotel terrace – that is the experience you will achieve with Per Se - a light, sweet, and delicate aperitif, with a small bitterness on the palate.
Composed by 24 botanicals that contribute to a rich ensemble of flavours (hints of cardamom, orange, Jamaican pepper, and Portuguese hop), it has already conquered significant awards, such as the highest score (94 points out of 100) on its category in the Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2021, considered the best competition in the Spirits Industry.
