Bar ohne Namen

Advertorial

The Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS) brings the vibrancy of America’s distilling scene straight to Bar Convent Berlin 2025. The USA Pavilion in Hall 20 D 22 and D 30 is your gateway to the soul of American spirits: 16 U.S. craft distillers from 13 states showcase the diversity, flavor, and innovation at the heart of the U.S. spirits community.

A Toast to Craft and Heritage

Sip your way across the nation—from bold bourbons and heritage rye, to American single malts with a regional character and small-batch craftsmanship to fragrant botanical gins and imaginative liqueurs. Every bottle at the Pavilion tells its own rich story of American ingenuity, celebrating both time-honored tradition and boundless experimentation.

Spotlighting American Excellence and Innovation in Distilling

Explore the people, places, and passion behind each pour. Whether you're here to make discoveries, network, or elevate your portfolio, the American spirit is ready to meet you.

Each participating distillery has a compelling background story - from family-run operations rooted in 19th-century traditions to start-up producers pushing the boundaries of flavor with premium products ready for international markets.

Engage in direct dialogue with the makers themselves—forge valuable business contacts, and gain behind-the-scenes insights into production methods, current trends, and the rich tapestry of North American drinking culture. Innovation takes center stage as you explore cutting-edge developments in barrel-aging, rare mash bills, craft cocktail strategies, and sustainable practices straight from the U.S. scene.

For importers and retailers, this is the ideal space to connect with distilleries poised for growth, with plenty of exclusive brands ready for the European market. Bartenders, too, will find fresh inspiration: from sourcing rare spirits and creating memorable signature drinks to weaving authentic stories into your menu—this is your gateway to standout bar experiences.

Growing Global Demand for U.S. Craft Spirits

The presence at BCB underscores a growing international appetite for American spirits, especially in Europe. DISCUS’ participation in BCB is part of its broader export promotion strategy, supported in part by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Market Access Program (MAP). U.S. spirits exports have quintupled since 2000, rising from $478 million in 2000 to more than $2.4 billion in 2024. In 2024, U.S. spirits exports reached a record, marking a nearly 10% increase from 2023. U.S. spirits exports to the European Union (EU) grew by 39%. American Whiskeys, despite a slight decline in 2024, accounted for 54% of all U.S. spirits exports and totaled more than $1.3 billion.
